We are seeking a mid-to-senior-level, Account Manager to join the Humanaut team. The main responsibility of an Account Manager at Humanaut is to guide clients and brands from new business through final delivery of project assets. To do this, you need to be able to market Humanaut in a way that nails the unique Humanaut value prop. You will help re-educate our clients on how to succeed in their partnership with us at each stage of the project.

Aligning the interests of the client with those of the agency (while directing a complex project plan) requires finesse as well as stress management and self-discipline. Collaboration and teamwork is key to this role. In addition to all the “soft” people skills this role requires, you must be extremely organized and accountable. You should be able to field any question related to a project, either by knowing the answer or knowing who does. You need an uncanny knack for seeing around corners and the ability to predict and prepare for client needs and questions.

Role & Responsibilities:
With new business and client onboarding...

  • Play a crucial role in implementing our evolving new business strategy, as well as cultivating current client relationships to develop additional project opportunities.
  • Analyze and articulate a brand’s business model, market dynamics, and vision for growth
  • Understand and articulate Humanaut’s capabilities and processes
  • Work with operational, creative and production teams to develop and deliver scopes, and relay pricing and timelines to the client
  • Manage agency RFI and RFP participation, as well as the (rare) formal pitches we choose to participate in.
  • Master the new business to project kickoff process from the initial new business call all the way through onboarding and project kick-off

  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple brands at once
  • Deeply understand the client’s marketing priorities and pain points
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients
  • Manage the day-to-day needs of a project, including client and internal communication
  • Coordinate, prepare for and run client meetings
  • Provide budget oversight on assigned projects and manage client change orders and incremental invoicing
  • Work with Project Producers to manage the client feedback process
  • Manage up to the leadership team, and manage horizontally across the accounts team to coordinate team needs and ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure that client needs and objectives are clearly articulated and understood inside the agency
Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of agency experience is required. 3+ years of account experience is strongly preferred
  • BA/BS degree in Business Management or Administration, Advertising, PR and Marketing Communications or relevant field
  • Must live in a near proximity to Chattanooga, TN or be willing to relocate
  • Demonstrable experience leading teams in executing a plan against specific organizational goals
  • Experience creating and presenting capabilities, case studies, proposals and reports
  • Proven ability to own and manage multiple projects at a time without sacrificing quality
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, critical thinking and speaking abilities
  • Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
